In a letter to Richard Weeks, London merchant Henry Bluett describes the fire which had recently consumed the Globe. He states that during a performance of 'All is Triewe', the playhouse was 'fired with shooting off a chamber' that set its thatched roof on fire; he claims that the only casualty was a man who suffered burns after saving a child from the fire.
