Viewing Event Record: Prince Charles' Men leave the Hope and ask Alleyn for a loan

Abstract

The Prince Charles' men write to inform Edward Alleyn of their departure from the Hope. The 'intemperate' Jacob Meade, they claim, has deprived them of the one day they have been allowed to perform at the theatre. They then ask Alleyn to secure them another venue, and a loan for £40.
