Abstract

The 1592 pamphlet 'The Defence of Coneycatching' is a lengthy attack on Robert Greene, and accuses him of selling the play 'Orlando Furioso' to the Queen's Men for twenty nobles, and then to the Admiral's Men for the same sum when the Queen's Men 'were in the country.'
