Abstract
A 'List of Orders to be published by the Lord Mayor and Aldermen of the City of London and the Justices of the Peace of the Counties of Middlesex and Surrey by direction from the Lords of the Privy Council' is to forbid 'playes Bearebaytinges games singing of balletts buckler play or such like causes of assemblies,' under pain of severe punishment.
