Cerasano cites TNA: PRO, SP14/70, f 132 in support of the claim that Edward Alleyn 'remained "Master of the Kings Bears" to the end of his days,' but the letter in question is in fact an erroneous report in 1612 of Alleyn's death. The phrase "Master of the King's Bears" appears in the calendar only, and not in the original document.
