- Bowsher cites TNA: PRO, E134/18JasI/Mich10 to support the claim that '[a]fter William Payne's Bear Garden collapsed in January 1583 it was rebuilt "larger in circuit and compasse' with 'galleries'. The MS itself does not in fact support this positive claim: the passages appear as questions in Interrogatory 15, which are not answered by the John Taylor, the sole deponent to respond to the Interrogatory.
