- In an 1841 introduction to Francis Thynne's "The debate between Pride and Lowliness" John Payne Collier connected [T.F., student] to Thynne: see also "Catalogue Bibliographical and Critical of Early English Literature" (London: 1837). This has been contested and is not widely accepted, so this record has not been altered accordingly.
