The House of Commons committee appointed to look into the Blackfriars inhabitants' petition against the playhouse reports back. Sir Benjamin Rudyard advises that he has brought the matter to the Lord Chamberlain's attention, who has agreed to recommend the petition to the King. The Lord Chamberlain will make his best effort to mediate the petition, 'so as there may be Consideration had of the Players Damages by their Removal from thence.'
