Viewing Event Record: The Company of the Revels promises Red Bull audiences reformed plays

Abstract

The Queen's Men, recently reformed as the Company of the Revels, return to the Red Bull from the Phoenix in 1619. In the prologue to 'Two Merry Milkmaids' the company promises its audience a less noisy and more refined theatrical fare than it has come to expect of the playhouse.
