Abstract

Valentine Longe played his scholars prize at the Curtain in Holywell 4 February 1580 at two weapons: the long sword and the sword and buckler. He played against Richard Fletcher and other unnamed free scholars. He was admitted a free scholar under master Gregory Grene.
