An entry in Philip Henslowe's diary records that he lent £15 to Francis Henslowe on 8 May 1593 to pay for a share in the Queen's Men 'when they brocke & went into the contrey to playe[.]' Francis is to repay the loan when he returns from 'owt of the contrey.'
