Viewing Event Record: The playing restraint imposed in the wake of the performance of the Isle of Dogs is lifted

Abstract

Henslowe notes that he has paid the Master of the Revels' man, a Mr Blunsone, 10s for news that the Queen's council has lifted the playing ban imposed in the wake of the performance of the Isle of Dogs. This is one of the entries identified by Greg (Henslowe's Diary, p xli) as a Collier forgery.
