Abstract

Alexander Bradshaw answers articles in Bishop Bancroft's 1598-9 visitation of St Paul's. He testifies that the upper cloisters are not in use, nor it there a private entrance, other than what was made when it was built. Mr Giles occupies the lower cloisters and the shrouds, by the license of the Dean and Chapter.
