The Lord Mayor writes to Lord Burghley, Lord High Treasurer, of a recent disorder in Southwark. The principal agents in the riot were certain feltmakers' apprentices, who, along with a number of "lose & maisterlesse men," had gone to Southwark on the pretence of seeing a play.
