Abstract

The Privy Council writes to the Lord Mayor requesting him to lift the ban on playing now that the plague has abated. They also request that he revoke an injunction against playing on holidays, excepting only Sundays, and give the Mayor authority power to appoint someone the examine plays before they are performed so that no controversial matter will be performed.
