A Lord Chamberlain's warrant records that the fourteen players of Queen Henrietta Maria's Men are granted livery cloth: four yards apiece of bastard scarlet, and three yards and a half of crimson velvet for capes. It notes that this livery is due them every second year, and this grant was due last Michaelmas.
