Abstract

Thomas Mowseherst swears an affidavit that William Henslowe is too old at sixty-eight years, and too sick and bedridden since last St Bartholomew's Day, to answer Alleyn's bill of complaint. Mowseherst swears Alleyn is deaf and 'his sences & understanding so decayed that he cannot well heare or vnderstand the said compl[tes] bill.'
